A Dairy Industry Workshop sponsored by the Virginia Association of Sanitarians and Dairy Fieldmen is scheduled for March 17 and 18, 1999, at the Holiday Inn in Staunton at I-81 exit 225. Dairy inspectors, dairy field reps, milking equipment personnel, and dairy producers are invited to attend. Topics include: human resistance to antibiotics, effects of lowering somatic cell counts, environmental issues, freezing points or cryoscope tests, bulk tank samples, and quality incentive programs.
