Culpeper BCIA Bulls Sell April 6

The 43rd Annual Culpeper BCIA Performance Tested Bull Sale will be held Friday evening, April 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises at Culpeper, Virginia. The sale will have approximately 72 bulls, which will represent the top sixty percent of the 122 bulls tested at Glenmary Farm near Rapidan, Virginia. Sixty-five Angus, 6 Polled Hereford, and 1 Limousin bull will sell. Each bull will have a complete performance record including birth, weaning, and yearling weights, test gain, frame score, and scrotal circumference. Expected Progeny Differences (EPD) will be available, as well as ultrasound measurements of carcass traits.

The Culpeper Central Bull Test Station and Sale is sponsored by the Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association headquartered in Blacksburg, VA. The breeders who have consigned bulls are all members of Virginia BCIA.
