Beginners' Sheep Shearing School

A two day school to help beginners learn how to shear will be held April 28-29 at the Southwest Virginia Agricultural Research and Extension Center located at Glade Spring, Virginia. The school will help teach the basics of shearing as well as use and maintenance of shearing equipment. The school involves a very hands-on approach. A maximum of 20 participants will be accepted.
