Youth Activities at 1998 Virginia Beef Expo

The 1998 Virginia Beef Expo is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, April 23-25 at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds in Harrisonburg. It will include 10 different sales (9 breeds plus commercial heifers). Also at the Expo will be the Barn Party on Friday evening and the best trade show of beef equipment, supplies, and products in the state. The Junior Beef Roundup will not be held with the Beef Expo this year. It will be the following weekend, May 2-3.
There are quite a few youth activities still scheduled during the Beef Expo. They are summarized in the following table:

Pre-registration is required for the Youth Cattle Working Contest. For all other contests registration is on-site. Look for additional Beef Expo details in the agricultural papers in Virginia.
