Culpeper BCIA Bulls Sell April 9

The 41st Annual Culpeper BCIA Performance Tested Bull Sale will be held Friday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises at Culpeper, Virginia. The sale will have approximately 81 bulls which will represent the top two-thirds of the 117 bulls tested at Glenmary Farm near Rapidan, Virginia. Angus, Charolais, Polled Hereford, Salers, and Simmental bulls will sell. Each bull will have a complete performance record including birth, weaning, and yearling weights, test gain, frame score, and scrotal circumference. Expected Progeny Differences (EPD) will also be available, as well as ultrasound measurements of carcass traits. The Culpeper Central Bull Test Station and Sale is sponsored by the Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association headquartered in Blacksburg, Va. The breeders who have consigned bulls are all members of Virginia BCIA.
