Virginia Cooperative Extension routinely collects feedback from program participants to evaluate the success of its educational programs in meeting the needs of clientele. Input from program participants is also used to make improvements to educational programs.
-
The 4-H Virtual Forest teacher and student evaluations allow users an opportunity to provide feedback on the modules, user guides, and activity sheets. Neither the 4-H Virtual Forest evaluations nor the 4-H Virtual Forest web site collect the user's name, social security number, address, phone number, e-mail address, or any other personal information. The input of limited demographic information such as age, grade, and gender is optional. This information will be used for the sole purpose of identifying characteristics of persons using the web site, and how well the site is addressing the needs of those persons.
-
Responses to the online surveys are submitted and collected in a Virginia Tech database. Findings from the surveys are used by project designers to make improvements to the 4-H Virtual Forest curriculum and web site. Only aggregated data is reported.
